Follicular is our first independent documentary on the 'all types that make the world'. In cities and towns where appearances, fashion-forwardness, conformity, or the lack of which marks popular judgement and social constructs, Follicular takes a look individuality in a peculiar way - hair.
The crew meets people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures and probes into the lives of individuals through a basic physical manifestation - hair. Dressed up, dressed down, in irreconcilable conditions or non-existent, Follicular is an uncanny exploration of this physical attribution and its internalisation.
